Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
St. Maarten – The publication of the integrity-report from the Wit-Committee has been delayed until next week Friday, Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams informed this newspaper yesterday. The original publication date of the report plus the comments from the government on it were scheduled for yesterday.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances we have not yet ratified the government’s position. We expect to do so next Tuesday,†the Prime Minister wrote in an email to this newspaper. “We have informed the Committee that due to that delay, we will send the report and government’s reaction to Parliament and make it public he latest in Friday, August 22.â€
